Foundations Piano Sheets

citizen awareness in schools

This year, the team accompanied EAP by local volunteers and expatriates traveled in primary schools, colleges and high schools to educate youth about the environment, particularly in waste management.

The first outreach was held April 14 and will be followed by many others over a period of a month.

Initially, PAE recalls the history of waste management : From "La Belle Lome" with waste collection by Sotoema to "trash the Lome" today!
Then the many risks in terms of health, environment and economy are Presentations:

HEALTH: skin diseases, cancer, bronchitis, malaria, poisoning, ...
ENVIRONMENT: threat to biodiversity, disruption of ecosystems,
ECONOMY: absence of tourism

Finally, solutions to this environmental problem are sought :
- S register in a pre-collection STRUCTURE
- Littering in a trash
- Refuse many bags donated by merchants and reuse a plastic bag or tissue
- Sort: compost - plastic - scrap metal - Battery ...
- Forward the information to family and friends!

The association aims to not only educate the young schoolchildren on waste management, but also make a healthy environment for the population.

Also, PAE recovers plastic bags in order to recycle them and turn them into blocks . The manufacturing pavers allow one hand to give work to local people and also to participate in the coverage roads, sidewalks, schools and residential courses. With

papers , EAP also manufactures briquettes that burn and are intended to cook.

Finally, batteries (the most harmful waste due to its composition of heavy metals such as zinc, mercury, lead or aluminum) are recovered at the association's project to convey to France to be dealt .
