Environment Week

DARING TOGETHER!

biodiversity, sustainable development, waste management ... For a Sunny Future vigorously active in the field of environmental .

In continuation of its project "Towards a Green Togo" which began in 2006 with the aim of raising awareness of the management, protection and risks to the environment, EAP organizes this year entire week devoted to the theme of the environment: From May 31 to June 5, 2010.

Through the theme "Daring together," EAP claims the envy of a common humanity to find real solutions to environmental problems facing the Togo but also the world's population.

Despite the limited financial and material resources but with a very strong motivation and perseverance, PAE has successfully carried out this week for the environment.

Thus, many activities have been implemented.

Monday, May 31:

- Press Conference, which announced the official opening of the week.

- Installing pit Associations: CEC, Afrik2main and PAE.


Tuesday 1 st June: Day Togolese tree "

- Awareness of sixty children at Waste Management

- Film screening and discussion on the theme of trees and deforestation



Wednesday, June 2:

- Fair games and awareness on waste management

Thursday, June 3:

- Communication on water

- Meeting discussion with collectors and pre-collection


Friday, June 4:

- Visit the station water treatment of Cacaveli

- Skits performed by the theater group EAP


Saturday, June 5: "World Environment Day"

This week has been a success thanks to the support of the Ministry of Environment and Forest Resources and the Municipality of Lome.

We thank also the TDE, the Goethe Institute, Afrik2main structures and pre-collection for their help throughout the week.

We also thank the sponsors, Water Voltic and the Post for their input materials.



Finally, a big thank you to all the children who attended their respective schools and have supported us throughout the week.

The children are indeed mobilized in great numbers by their daily presence in the EAP, their participation and interest in the themes.
